Response: -

 The college has made its noteworthy contribution to the society and environment by making a participation to promote institute-Neighbourhood Community network. Major emphasis is given on student engagement, service orientation and holistic development of students contributing to good citizenship. The students of our college actively participate in social service activities leading to their overall development. Through extension and outreach programs, we sensitize the students to develop social values, wide-spread their responsibilities and knowledge in societal issues and Problem by Making them to Involve with the Community People.

  Extension activities can be seen in the various means of disseminating the experiences and research out- puts of staff and students. Tulsi college provides platform in the form of organizing regional and national level workshops, seminars, conferences and symposia in various disciplines. Similarly, the faculty members are encouraged and given full support to participate in various National and International fora. The college runs effectively National Service Scheme and National Cadet Corps Units. Through these units, the college undertakes Various Extension Activities in the Neighbourhood Community.

The Main Extension Activities are-

1.       .Blood Donation Activities - The students, are involved to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and to recognize the contribution of voluntary unpaid blood donors in saving lives and improving health. Not only students, but the professors and office staff donate blood on a regular level. They realize the value of each life, that each life is precious and invaluable and each drop of blood is life
2.        Environment Activities - The NSS volunteers contribute to practice such as observing Earth Day / Environment Day / Green Day by doing garden duty, planting tree protecting and improving the environment. They realize the value of free resources such as clean air, clean water. They pledge never to waste them. The volunteers also aware the society telling the importance of environment Safety.
3.    .    DE-addiction Activities  - Nasha Mukt Bharat - All united to take a pledge under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to make not only our Community Family, Friends but ourselves drug free because change starts from within. Rally was taken off and   street play was organized to sensitize the society about the harms of drug. The principal, students and staff members participated in the rally. The principal stated that the youth are the backbone of our nation and it must be channelized in a positive direction for a health society.
4.      Voter’s Right Activities - The Volunteers actively participated in the voter’s awareness campaign by taking pledge for free fair election without any temptation. Encourage more young voters to take part in the political process through various activities like street play related to the importance of voting, rally with the theme of making our voters empowered, vigilant, safe and informed, wall painting etc.
5.        Plastic Free Activities - Students are involve to sensitize the community about the effects of plastic on nature and human reducing plastics is so important Through routine activities the volunteers made the whole college campus and the surroundings and also the road from college to district court plastic free.
6.       Health Activities -   A Rally was taken out with an objective to spread the message among the masses to remain healthy and fit and also motivated the people to exercise regularly and stay healthy. Fit India Freedom Run was Organized.
7.      Swachh Bharat Activities - Swachh Bharat has sensitized students towards the value of cleanliness-, clean living clean surroundings etc. They message the society that good Health is closely linked to cleanliness. They try to keep the campus clean by not littering the premises. The N.S.S volunteers visited village Kholitola Paraswar to aware people and cleaned the nook and corner of the village with the motto of 'use the dustbin'. Health care & hygiene tips were given to the people & school students of rural areas.
8.      Pulse polio Alleviation Activities - Initiative was started by the volunteers with an objective of achieving hundred percent coverage under oral polio Vaccine we aimed to immunize children through awareness, rallies, banners, slogan etc.
9.     Covid-19 Awareness Activities - The Outbreak of Corona epidemic in India and all over the world started from march 2020 Due to this being a contagious and very serious and new type of disease the entire country had to lockdown but even in this difficult situation our college NSS volunteers under the guidance of the principal by following the necessary precautions related to covid kept on making people aware through various activities , posters ,wall-painting , Social distancing, wearing mask , washing hand ,Using sanitizer, slogan  etc. The students were actively engaged in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. they are engaged with enthusiasm in the Vaccination campaign with the objective to inspire & motivate the youth to protect people against Covid-19. In This sequence awareness Rally was arranged in Paraswar & Pipariya village the volunteers go door to door to aware general Public to get Vaccinated.
10. 1   Child Protection Activities - The volunteers organized various activities for child prevention, child labour, child marriage, child Sexual abuse, child begging, child development and pedagogy, child exploitation awareness through posters, wall painting, rangoli, street play.
11. 11  College Chalo Abhiyan Activities - Under this scheme college principal, staff members go to school in nearby areas and speak with students, teachers and parents encourage them for higher studies. We also inform them about the benefits and scheme for students especially for those that cleared the examination with first division for reserved categories and the benefits for girls. This Abhiyan promotes higher studies. Awareness is done through college banners and presentation for students, school teachers and parents.
12. 1    Special Camping Activities - The NSS unit organizes a residential seven-day camp in nearby villages and also in the adopted village and several activities were carried out by NSS Volunteers addressing social issues.
13. 1       Cultural activities Activities - Various cultural activities are organized, aiming at personality development of students and for sensitization of the society.
14. 1    Sadbhavana Divas Activities - Rally is organized to eschew violence and to promote good will among the people.
15.       Shudh Ke liye Yudh Activities – Street play and rally was organized for sensitizing society against   adulteration of edible products, food items, water, milk, medicine etc.
16.       Other Activities.
